ABOUT
Hello! I am a storyboard artist and have been working in animation since 2022. I’ve been on projects such as Archer, Hit-Monkey, and the pilot for Drew Goddard’s new animated show, Trenches.
I’ve always loved storytelling. In school, I found myself dreaming up and drawing characters between classes. Even before I could draw, I was always very imaginative. When I was younger, I would reenact dramas with my dolls or direct plays with my siblings. Eventually, I found myself seeking a fine arts degree. My art became more introspective, and I meditated on interpersonal relationships. While storytelling wasn’t my main focus at this time, I believe it gave me a unique perspective. To create meaningful stories, you must be self-reflective and curious about other people. Soon after graduating, I found that I was hungry for story again and dedicated my time to learning how to storyboard. I grew my skills in drawing, acting, film language, editing, and -of course- storytelling! After a bit, I was hired as a full-time storyboard artist and developed my skills further. I love storyboarding. I love collaborating with a team to find creative solutions and discuss story. Working in animation combines two things I’m passionate about: filmmaking and art. It’s a uniquely intense job and satisfies every itch I need to scratch as a creative person. You can email me at cberrios.art@gmail.com for any questions or if you want to see NDA work.
